Michael Eric Dyson was named by Ebony as one of the hundred most influential black Americans, has written 19 books, is a two-time NAACP Image Award winner and the winner of the American Book Award for his book, “Come Hell or High Water: Hurricane Katrina and the Color of Disaster.” His book, “Making Malcolm: The Myth and Meaning of Malcolm X” was recognized as a notable book of the year by the New York Times in 1994 and currently he has his 4th New York Times Bestseller, “Tears we cannot stop: A Sermon to White America”. This book has been named the best/most anticipated book of 2017.
