The PeaceJam Foundation is a one-of-a-kind organization founded by world peace leaders including The Dalai Lama, Desmond Tutu, and 12 other Nobel Peace Laureates inspiring everyday citizens and organizations to create solutions to issues in their own community. In this Talk, PeaceJam co-founder Dawn Engle discusses the non-profit’s One Billion Acts of Peace campaign.
With over 20 years of experience, The PeaceJam Foundation shapes young leaders committed to positive change in themselves, their communities and the world through the inspiration of Nobel Peace Laureates who pass on the spirit, skills and wisdom they embody. At the time of this Talk, the One Billion Acts of Peace campaign has recorded over 33 million Acts of Peace in 145 countries, and inspired millions of people to believe that their voice counts. It is PeaceJam’s vision that true change in the world starts with grassroots efforts, community and peace building, and small Acts of Peace.
