For years a right wing policy group called American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) has been pushing corporate-friendly, unjust and undemocratic legislation, including laws that weaken minority voting rights. Several of America’s leading corporations funded ALEC. Recently ColorofChange launched a successful campaign to pressure companies to stop funding ALEC – and it’s working! Johnson & Johnson was the 19th company to pull funding from ALEC.
